The Discovery Center!
The Discovery Center offers birthday party packages to fit any budget.. The packages include unlimited museum time for the party children and a party room for one hour so you can do cake, presents and games. Each child invited to the party can bring one parent. However, if the parents bring siblings, they must pay for them at the front desk. We can also provide a party attendant for $15.00 extra to help with your party.
BIRTHDAY PARTY INFORMATION
All Birthday parties include:

A private party room for one hour for cake, presents, and activities.

15 minutes for setup and 15 minutes for cleanup.

Unlimited playtime on the museum floor.

Admission for one adult per child as well as one additional parent for the birthday child.

Free admission for the grandparents of the birthday child.
PRICING
Up to 10 children: $95.00
Includes admission for 11 adults.
Up to 15 children: $105.00
Includes admission for 16 adults.
Up to 20 children: $115.00
Includes admission for 21 adults
Parties in excess of 20 children require special accommodations due to room capacity regulations. “Supersized” parties allow a maximum of 30 children at a cost of $230.
A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required to book your party. The remaining balance for the party is due 5 days prior to the date of the party. If for some reason the party must be canceled, refunds will be given (minus the non-refundable deposit) with 48 hours notice. However, there will be no refunds given for guests not attending once the final payment has been made.

Need a little help? We can provide a party attendant to assist you in serving your guests while you are in the party room for just $15.
Museum Birthday Slumber Parties
Looking for the ultimate birthday party? Spend a night here at the museum! Your evening will include facilitated Discovery Center fun from a theme that you choose, breakfast in the morning, and lots of play time in our museum just for your group. Choose from our fun kid tested themes or bring your own fun. You provide the kids and we do the rest! Bring your own birthday cake or cupcakes to celebrate. Party hours are between 6pm and 8:30am – chose your start and end times.

Continental breakfast and generic party supplies are included. You bring our own party food and any themed decorations to celebrate.

One adult for every five children is required to spend the night.

Prehistoric Mania
It’s a blast from the past as we explore the world of dinosaurs. Make a fossil, see how large a T-Rex tooth was, and dig for some dino bones of your own!
Mad Scientists
Get on your lab coat for some science fun. Learn why things pop, fizz, bubble, and change color with our fun science experiments. It’s learning and fun all in one!
Spa Fun
It’s a night of girlie fun. We’ll make lip gloss, relax with cucumbers and face masks, learn about aromatherapy and do our hair.
Royal Court
Calling all royalty! Your are hereby invited for an evening of glitter, sparkles and fun! Choose from special royal crafts, games, and story. Take a ride on our ‘carriage’ to the royal ball.
SUGGESTIONS

We recommend making your reservations several weeks in advance because our facilities tend to fill up.

Please bring candles, matches, a knife, an ice cream scoop, and a bag to carry gifts home in.

There is a refrigerator/freezer available if you wish to bring perishable items i.e. an ice cream cake.
GOODIE BAG SUGGESTIONS
Are you tired of putting together goodie bags? We have the some suggestions for you. Our gift shop is full of fun and educational toys. We suggest that instead of making up goodie bags for each guest that you give them two or three dollars to spend in our gift shop. Many of our toys are priced below two dollars so no child should have a problem finding something to spark their interest.
