CALLING BOYS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 9-12!

PARLOR CITY BOY'S CHORUS

The Parlor City Boy’s Chorus directed by Ghislaine Stewart is now in its fourth season. PCBC released its first CD, performed at First Friday venues, holiday concerts and sung the National Anthem at sporting events. They also competed in the Music in the Park competition at Hershey Park in May of 2006 and took 1st place in the Middle School Men’s Choir AAA Division.

The chorus will be auditioning new members in September .  No previous musical training is necessary to attend the auditions.  Boys between the ages of 9 and 13 with unchanged voices are eligible.  Boys simply need an ability to match pitch, a willingness to learn and an enjoyment of singing.  Each boy should be prepared to sing America (my country ‘tis of thee…) alone.  There will be a brief introductory meeting for parents and boys just prior to individual auditions. There is a semester fee.  Family memberships & scholarships may be available.  If you have questions, call The Discovery Center at 607-773-8661.
