of the Southern Tier,a hands-on children’s museum. We will position it for the future so our children,
grandchildren and their grandchildren will discover for themselves the joy of learning.. |

How We Help
We created The Discovery Center of the Southern Tier Foundation, Inc. as an endowment fund. We don’t raise money to pay next week’s bills. We raise money for an investment fund, with returns parceled out over the decades to assure long-term growth and success. You set aside money to invest for your retirement, or college, or to leave to your children. That’s exactly what we do. |

How You Can Help
You can join us by giving to the museum in many forms, including:
• Cash, stocks, bonds or mutual funds
• Real estate, insurance policies or retirement assets.
• Bequests, deferred or planned giving.

The Investment Pays Off for Generations
A survey of educators about experiential learning — like that of The Discovery Center — showed:
• 82 percent found experiential learning effective in motivating students to learn more.
• 90 percent found experiential learning raised academic achievement.
• 85 percent found it helped kids grow interested in careers and higher education.
Clearly, The Discovery Center has had a great return on the investment. And we can tell by looking at our own kids.
Better, more motivated students become better, more productive adults. We are committed to helping.
