Bringing to life the books of Jan Brett!

Our new Jan Brett exhibit was great fun to create, but the exhibit’s true magic is in the hands of the children who make the books come alive!  Watching a child wearing mouse ears and a tail scurry in to a giant mitten then scuttle over to the mouse house for a cup of tea before scampering off on their way to make a little music with a few bears on Berlioz the Bear’s musical wagon is what it is all about. 
And it isn’t just the little guys having all the fun.  Children of all
ages (even our seniors!) have been spotted joining in the costume craze.   The exhibit, “Scurry, Scuttle and Scamper: Into the Pages
of Jan Brett”, has something for everyone!

So step into the pages and don’t miss the Jan Brett adventure! 
Pick up a passport from Amy at the front desk and let The Discovery Center take you on a journey full of sights and words!
