The Discovery Kids Preschool program is the best around for a fun, engaging, and enlightening environment for young children. We offer two classrooms, a 3-4 year old preschool program that is inclusive with the Handicapped Children’s Association, and a free 4 year old pre-kindergarten program connected with the Binghamton City School District Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program. "The Place to Be After Three"

The Discovery Center Kids Club Program is the program for children from kindergarten through 5th grade. Run by certified teaching staff and licensed by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, the Discovery Kids Club program provides engaging and fun learning experiences for your child, all through the lens of play!

This program follows the Binghamton City School District calendar and runs from 3:00PM to 6:00PM Monday-Friday (while Binghamton City Schools are open).

Sorry, our Discovery Kids After School Program for grades K-5 is currently full for the 2018-19 school year!


The Discovery Center’s afternoon Preschool Program is now a Binghamton City School District Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program for 4 year olds only! Children who turn 4 years old by December 1st and are residents of the Binghamton City School District are eligible to enroll in our afternoon program TUITION FREE. You are only responsible for an $100 non-refundable deposit, includes activity fee. Families may also be eligible for tuition assistance through the Department of Social Services.
